Somatic Therapy
Body-led dialogue and therapeutic touch,
In-Person (Waterloo) or Online
What does this work look like?
A body-based approach that supports the nervous system and body process, rather than the story alone. In this work, we track sensations, impulses, emotions, supporting the body in completing stress responses that were once interrupted. This work is a combination of dialogue-based work and therapeutic touch.
Our work together can support…
Unwinding survival patterns, bracing, tension, pain, or overwhelm in the body
Meeting difficult emotions with compassion
Softening chronic pain loops in the body
Strengthening your ability to sense boundaries, needs, and internal cues
Restoring a felt sense of regulation, choice, and embodied self-trust
Cultivating a felt sense of presence and belonging in your body, your life, and the world
Deepening connection to your core identity and personhood
Expanding your capacity for joy and aliveness
Sessions that include a hands-on component can be billed through extended health insurance (under RMT/Massage). You are always welcome to opt out of the touch component of our work. Please note that if we are only exploring somatic dialogue work with no hands-on component, or working together online-only, sessions cannot be claimed through insurance.

Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapist
Somatic Experiencing®
RMT and Acupuncture Provider
Hello! I’m happy you’re here.
My approach is exploratory, relational, and attuned, supporting regulation, emotional resilience, and embodied self-trust.
This work gently supports you in tracking sensations, completing survival responses, reconnecting with the body’s organic wisdom, and restoring a felt sense of safety and presence. Together we make space for what's ready to unwind, express, or shift in a way that honours the pacing of your unique nervous system.
My professional foundation is rooted in Somatic Experiencing®, registered massage therapy (RMT), and acupuncture. These modalities have shaped my understanding of the body’s capacity for healing. I also have additional training in partswork from an IFS based model.
I also think it's worth mentioning that I'm a survivor of complex trauma myself, and I've experienced somatic work as a way of supporting deep, lasting change that has rippled through the many facets of my life.

I ask clients to start by coming in every 1-2 weeks for a minimum of 8 weeks. This supports continuity, accountability, and allows enough time for the work to unfold and for new patterns to begin taking root.
There is no requirement to pay upfront or pre-book sessions in advance. The commitment is relational and honour system based. After 8 weeks, we can revisit pacing and frequency together.
