Somatic Therapy
Body-led dialogue and therapeutic touch to process emotions and regulate the system
In-Person (Waterloo) or Online
What does this work looks like?
A body-based approach that works with the nervous system and body process, rather than the story alone. In this work, we track sensations, impulses, emotions, supporting the body in completing stress responses that were once interrupted. This work is a combination of dialogue-based work and therapeutic touch. There is the option for acupuncture to be woven into our session as well to further support regulation in the system.
Our work together can support…
Unwinding survival patterns, bracing, tension, pain, or overwhelm in the body
Meeting difficult emotions with compassion
Strengthening your ability to sense boundaries, needs, and internal cues
Restoring a felt sense of regulation, choice, and embodied self-trust
Cultivating a felt sense of presence and belonging in your body, your life, and the world
Deepening connection to your core identity and personhood
Expanding your capacity for joy and aliveness
Sessions that include a touch/hands-on component can be billed through your insurance under RMT/Massage. You are always welcome to opt out of the touch component of our work. Please note that if we are only doing somatic dialogue work with no hand-on component, sessions cannot be claimed through benefits/insurance.

RMT and Acupuncture Provider
Hello! I’m happy you found your way here.
My work invites a deep reconnection to the body’s innate wisdom and supports nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and embodied self-trust.
This work gently supports you in tracking sensations, completing survival responses, and restoring a felt sense of safety and presence. It’s not about fixing, it’s about listening to the body’s wisdom and allowing what’s been stuck to move, alchemize, and integrate at a pace that honours your unique nervous system. Together, we listen to the body’s subtle cues, and make space for what's ready to unwind, express, or shift.
In addition to somatic dialogue based work, I also offer therapeutic touch and acupuncture to support nervous system coherence.
My professional foundation is rooted in trauma-informed yoga therapy, Somatic Experiencing®, registered massage therapy (RMT), and medical acupuncture. These modalities have shaped my understanding of body physiology, and the body’s capacity for healing.

I ask clients to start with bi-weekly sessions for a minimum of 8 weeks. This supports continuity, accountability, and allows enough time for the work to unfold and for new patterns to begin taking root.
There is no requirement to pay upfront or pre-book sessions in advance. The commitment is relational and honour system based. After 8 weeks, we can revisit pacing and frequency together.
