Feel your boundaries ݁⟡ ݁

Today, I’m excited to share a powerful practice with you — especially if you struggle with attachment/relational wounding and fawning behaviours.

It’s called the 🫧 Space Bubble Practice 🫧 (audio version above)

1. Stand up. Let your feet root into the ground.

2. Slowly, begin to trace a circle around yourself with your arms, as if you’re outlining an invisible sphere that belongs to YOU. Feel into your bubble’s edges: in front of you, behind you, and above you.

3. Feel the texture of this bubble. The material. Is it wood? Titanium? Glass? Gel? Something else entirely?

4. Feel into its colour, its thickness, its shape.

5. When you’ve traced the whole perimeter, pause. Take a breath.
And out loud, declare: “This is my space”

Say this as many times as you need to (slowly is recommended, with conviction and intention) for the words to sink into the tissues of your body, even if it’s just by 5 or 10%.

This simple practice can be radical, especially if you have a history of fawning, melting into relationships, or losing yourself in the process of tending to others. It’s a way to take up space without apology.
To claim who you are, your centre, your identity, your voice.

Take up space my love. Your unique light is needed in this world ❤️

With heart Ayesha xx

p.s. I offer online and in-person Somatic Processing Sessions 🌊 I’d love to welcome you into this wonderful therapeutic container where we explore the stories the body holds with compassion and curiosity.
