~ Rising Woman ~

a 5-week somatic journey | embody your voice, emotions, and midline

April 6th through May 4th, 2026 | in-person at the Yoni Art Gallery in Kitchener

Rising Woman (previously She Rises) is a 5-week, in-person journey for the woman who is ready to untangle old wounds and conditioned ways of relating to herself and others. It’s for the woman who feels something inside her longing to be felt and expressed… and who desires to be witnessed in that unfolding within a supportive, small-group, trauma-informed space. This is an embodied reclamation of power, presence, and the endless wisdom that lives within your very bones.

Rising Woman is for you if you’re devoted to your healing, perhaps even dabbled a bit in somatic work, but feel the call to go deeper. You’ll learn how to access the life-force intelligence of your emotions without collapsing into them or becoming overwhelmed by them, cultivating the capacity to feel fully, while staying rooted and resourced.

This was a fantastic experience. Not only did I meet amazing, like-minded women, Ayesha masterfully guided me to deeply connect with my body so that I can more easily recognize my truth. It was great to learn new practices that can help me continue to grow and learn, and to be my authentic self.

Ayesha creates such a safe and welcoming space where I felt really held and free to explore. The practices she shared including breath, movement, and somatic work, felt so soft, feminine, and wild in the best way. I loved how simple and grounded everything was, with tools I can easily bring into my day-to-day life. I’m so grateful for Ayesha and this journey. It really helped me come home to myself in a deeper way. The moments that felt most impactful for me were definitely the somatic movement practices. They helped me drop out of my head and really connect with my body in such a real, gentle way. I also loved how Ayesha brought nature into the space through art and meditation; it made everything feel so alive and connected. And honestly, her playlists are lit! The music added so much energy and emotion to each session.

Program Testimonials

Ayesha's work has been so transformative for me in my healing journey! True embodiment trickles into every area of your life when you experience it. From feeling things more authentically to establishing better boundaries, I have gleaned so much from this program!
— Alison Butler

Being able to recognize how trauma or conditioned beliefs show up in the way I act or react, and then learning how to gently rewrite my nervous system through the practices, has been unreal. I felt like I was finally able to reach inward, connect with my inner child, and create a safe space within myself. Some of the practices truly brought that part of me to life again. The environment felt incredibly safe. Having a group chat to introduce ourselves before meeting in person helped us build comfort and trust, and staying with the same women each week allowed us to go deeper together. The weekly homework check-ins made it easier to integrate everything we explored, both in the group and on my own. Ayesha is a wonderful soul, and I’m always full of gratitude when I get to learn from her and experience her warm, welcoming energy. This program was transformational in ways I’m still uncovering, and I’m so thankful I was part of it.

Ayesha balances practical exercises with clear context and teachings, helping us grow in both understanding and embodiment. I’ve never moved and danced so freely in a room before, but the space she created felt open, trusted, and sacred. That is what made it easy—and liberating—to step fully into the practice. From new movement exercises to being able to tune into and name bodily sensations, I’ve left with a lot of epiphanies and better understanding of myself that I can take into my everyday life. she also had a group chat throughout the week where she left us voice notes and additional teachings and opportunities to connect to the practice and each other (it’s not just a workshop, it’s a journey!) It is so clear Ayesha cares about her work and each of her clients and truly wants us each to get the most out of our experience. I consider myself very picky when it comes to courses and practices — especially because you’re dealing with very personal and vulnerable pieces of yourself so I don’t take my course and workshop decisions lightly. But after meeting Ayesha even once, you can feel how genuine and knowledgeable she is and I’m happy I entrusted her with this experience. I highly recommend. Thank you Ayesha!!

The group of women who journeyed alongside me were phenomenal. We connected so deeply and supported one another with such honesty and grace. It was a beautiful, empowering experience that reminded me of who I am at my core. I am so grateful for She Rises — it was exactly what my soul needed.

A note on ethical facilitation in trauma renegotiation spaces…

In this program we explore somatic processes, relational dynamics, emotional embodiment, and trauma renegotiation. We dive into the body’s stories, charged emotions, attachment wounding where both lovingly witnessing other sisters and being witnessed is an essential part of the journey. This work is tender and deep, and requires a level of presence, resilience, and capacity from everyone in the container.

This program is best suited for women who feel they have enough inner capacity right now to meet these experiences, stay connected to their body, and hold compassionate space for others.

Because of the nature of the practices and the vulnerability involved, this program cannot be “for everyone.” Attempting to make it universally accessible would dilute the safety and integrity of the space. This is not about shutting anyone out, it is about protecting the conditions that allow for deep transformation.

If you are looking for a lighter, more casual women’s group or community for mood support or gentle connection, Rising Woman may not be the right fit for you at this time. That kind of support is different from the intensive, relational, and somatic work we do here.

This space is intentionally curated to create safety for everyone involved. Ethical facilitation means I hold the tensions between vulnerability and emotional capacity with care, while actively tending to the integrity of the group dynamic. Your presence, honesty, and readiness to engage fully are what make this container possible.

If you are currently in the midst of an acute emotional crisis, or navigating something that feels overwhelming, it may be a better act of self-love to focus on stabilizing and resourcing yourself first before joining a program like this.

Once we’re in the container together, you’re always welcome to take space or step away if something feels like too much in the moment. That said, I encourage you to arrive with enough capacity to step into this type of space, knowing that we’ll be moving through potent themes together.

Above all, you know yourself best. I trust you to feel into whether this is the right space, and the right time, for you.

The body holds the truth.
This is where we listen.

Ayesha Nobes

Ayesha is an embodiment and somatic practitioner, guiding women who are deeply engaged in their healing move beyond cognitive-only processing and into emotional alchemy and embodied inner knowing. Having worked in the wellness and embodiment field for over a decade, she brings rich experience and depth.

She prioritizes the importance of resourcing and integration, creating a nurturing container where you can unravel and be held.

Ayesha plays with the therapeutic concepts of both catharsis and titration in her work. Catharsis when pushing growth edges (mainly in group containers), and titration for a slower, steadier, grounded approach to healing (mainly in 1x1 sessions).

In both approaches, Ayesha prioritizes the importance of resourcing and integration, creating a nurturing container where you can unravel and be held.

Her professional foundation and educational background is rooted in trauma-informed yoga therapy, somatic experiencing (SEI), registered massage therapy (RMT), and medical acupuncture. While she is currently not active in her RMT/acupuncture practice, her clinical experience has provided her with a strong understanding of anatomy, therapeutic concepts, and a deep commitment to compassionate and quality care. In addition, Ayesha educates movement and wellness professionals in the topics of musculoskeletal anatomy, somatics, myofascial release, and nervous system education. She has trained over 400 professionals in these areas of study to date. See her work with HealthyHips® and CE programs here.
