Yet, we’ve been conditioned to suppress it.

Every time we silence this response, holding back words we needed to say, suppressing emotions, or freezing when we longed to act, that incomplete and unresolved energy becomes trapped in our deep tissues.

This practice gives it a voice, a place to feel, a space to release what we’ve been holding onto.

The key to unlocking this stored energy? Tremor.

Sacred Somatic Shaking (tremor) is an embodiment practice designed to awaken and heal your Deep Front Line of Fascia: the primal core of your body that runs from your inner thighs and pelvic floor to your diaphragm, heart, and jaw.

This powerful line of fascia is where we store deep-rooted emotions, stress, and unresolved trauma.

The muscles in this line are associated with the flexion response that occurs with chronic stress and traumatic events.

This practice begins with activating the adductors (inner thigh muscles), which are directly connected to the pelvic floor and the body’s deep core. By engaging these muscles, a spontaneous tremor starts to unfold in the body, creating space for emotional release.

Like a wolf shaking off tension after a chase, or a bird trembling its wings after a shock, your body already knows how to heal. This practice simply gives it the space to do so.

This is for the woman ready to trust her body’s wisdom and step into her fully embodied power.

Sacred Somatic Shaking (Tremor) FAQs

  • Tremor is a body-based practice that activates natural, neurogenic tremors to release stored tension, stress, and trauma from the nervous system, to support emotional and physical well-being.

    We begin with guided movement to awaken and gently fatigue the core and leg muscles, prepping the body for the spontaneous tremor response. From there, we activate the inner thigh muscles (adductors) in a bound angle position, inviting the tremors to emerge naturally and allowing the vibrations to travel through the muscles and fascia, unlocking stored tension and energy. As the body begins to shake and release, we weave in breath and sound to further awaken the deep layers of muscle and fascia and a give voice to your experience.

  • No prior experience is necessary! This workshop is open to beginners and those familiar with somatic or embodiment practices. The session will be guided in supported space.

  • We’ll email you a few days before the workshop with this list as well, but if you’re curious now, here’s what you’ll need:

    • A yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on

    • A blanket or cushion for extra support

    • Water to stay hydrated

    • Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing

    • An eye mask if desired

    • A journal and pen if desired

  • No, the tremors are involuntary and arise naturally from the body's innate mechanisms. However, you are always in control. You can pause or slow down at any time, and I’ll be sure to show you ways to do that at the workshop before we begin the tremoring.

  • Yes! Since tremor work helps release stored tension, emotions may surface. This is a natural part of the process, and you will be supported in expressing and integrating any feelings that arise. During the tremoring, you are encouraged to sound and emote as much or as little as desired.

  • While tremor work is generally safe, it may not be suitable for everyone. Please consult with your healthcare provider before participating if you:

    • Are pregnant (especially in the first trimester)

    • Have severe or unmanaged PTSD, dissociation, or a history of psychosis

    • Have an acute injury, recent surgery, or medical conditions affecting movement

    • Experience epilepsy or neurological disorders where involuntary tremors may be a concern

    • Have high-risk cardiovascular conditions
