She Rises: 5 Week Somatic Journey

An embodied reclamation of voice, sovereignty, and centre

September 30th through October 28th, 2025 at the Yoni Art Gallery in Kitchener

She Rises is a 5 week in-person program for women to build a strong, embodied sense of self and centre, to feel and express what’s been craving a voice, and to get curious with the endless wisdom that lives within your very bones… all within a supportive, small-group, trauma-informed space.

Tremble. Growl. Crawl. Dance. Cry. Laugh. Connect. Unwind. Witness. Grow. Hum. Rise.

Together we’ll explore…

  • Embodied boundary work to reclaim your full-body yes and unapologetic no

  • Myofascial release for the pelvis, jaw, and core to unwind stored tension and emotional holding patterns in the body

  • Primal movement and healthy aggression expression to unfreeze old fawning (people pleasing) tendencies and take up space

  • Embodied dance and improvisation to access joy, intuition, sensuality, and emotional freedom

  • Journey drumming and vocal activation practices to liberate authentic voice and expression

  • Somatic partner practices to deepen attunement, co-regulation, and connection

  • Developmental movement to re-pattern attachment wounds

Throughout this journey, you’ll build self-trust, sharpen your instincts, and reclaim a solid, embodied sense of your centre.

A note on ethical facilitation in trauma renegotiation spaces…

She Rises is a deep and activating program. Together, we explore somatic processes, relational dynamics, emotional embodiment, and trauma renegotiation. Together, we’ll be diving into the body’s stories, charged emotions, attachment wounding…and we’ll be doing so in community, where both lovingly witnessing other sisters and being witnessed is an essential part of the journey. This work is potent, tender, and requires a level of presence, resilience, and capacity from everyone in the container.

This program is best suited for women who feel they have enough inner capacity right now to meet these experiences, stay connected to their body, and hold compassionate space for others as they share.

Because of the intensity of the practices and the vulnerability involved, this program cannot be “for everyone.” Attempting to make it universally accessible would dilute the potency, safety, and integrity of the space. This is not about shutting anyone out, it is about protecting the conditions that allow for deep transformation, ensuring that participants can fully engage and hold one another in trust, compassion, and confidentiality.

If you are looking for a lighter, more casual women’s group or community for mood support or gentle connection, She Rises may not be the right fit for you at this time. That kind of support is different from the intensive, relational, and somatic work we do here.

This space is intentionally curated to create safety for everyone involved. Ethical facilitation means I hold the tensions between vulnerability and emotional capacity with care, while actively tending to the integrity of the group dynamic. Your presence, honesty, and readiness to engage fully are what make this container possible.

If you are currently in the midst of an acute emotional crisis, or navigating something that feels overwhelming, it may be a better act of self-love to focus on stabilizing and resourcing yourself first before joining a program like this.

Once we’re in the container together, you’re always welcome to take space or step away if something feels like too much in the moment. That said, I encourage you to arrive with enough capacity to step into this type of space, knowing that we’ll be moving through potent themes together.

This is activating work. Beautiful work, but activating nonetheless. Please keep this is mind.

Above all, you know yourself best. I trust you to feel into whether this is the right space, and the right time, for you.

The body holds the truth.
This is where we listen.

Ayesha Nobes

Ayesha is a embodiment facilitator and somatic practitioner, who helps women to resolve trauma, connect in community, and deepen relationship with the wisdom of the body.

With 10 years of experience in the wellness and embodiment field, she offers transformative interventions in her work, guiding women through somatic experiencing, emotional embodiment and process work, feminine shamanic practices and archetypical expression, boundary renegotiation, relational healing, somatic movement, embodied dance journeying, breathwork practices, myofascial release, and feminine nervous system education — in both small group containers and 1x1 sessions.

Ayesha plays with the therapeutic concepts of both catharsis and titration in her work. Catharsis when pushing growth edges (mainly in group containers), and titration for a slower, steadier, grounded approach to healing (mainly in 1x1 sessions).

In both approaches, Ayesha prioritizes the importance of resourcing and integration, creating a nurturing container where you can unravel and be held.

Her professional foundation and educational background is rooted in trauma-informed yoga therapy, somatic experiencing (SEI), registered massage therapy (RMT), and medical acupuncture. While she is currently not active in her RMT/acupuncture practice, her clinical experience has provided her with a strong understanding of anatomy, therapeutic concepts, and a deep commitment to compassionate and quality care. In addition, Ayesha educates movement and wellness professionals in the topics of musculoskeletal anatomy, somatics, myofascial release, and nervous system education. She has trained over 370 professionals in these areas of study to date. See her work with HealthyHips® and CE programs here.
